I'm still having problems with this on 14.04.
After the default installation, I installed dnsmasq and DNS stopped
working until system restart.
Now it's only working for a few seconds after each network-manager
restart!
If I comment out
#dns=dnsmasq
in NetworkManager.conf, then everything is

I changed my package repository to use propsed source as instrcted, and
installed librcc0.
moc is working correctly (as before) and no trouble happens now.
So the commited changes seems to fix the bug.
