Well of course it happens with the stock kernel. It doesn't matter what
kernel is used. Kernel 3.13 is just the only kernel that enables DPM by
default. Regardless, it shouldn't happen period, testing or not.

I can also confirm this issue has happened to me on multiple Distro's,
