I can reproduce the crash if I use my internal and the external monitor
side by side. Mouse behaviour in Unity in that mode is awfully buggy
(you can't move between the two monitors, and the mouse area seems to

When installing Kubuntu, Ubiquity fails to populate the apt xapian cache
on /target , leaving the xapian cache to be populated at a unspecified
time by a cronjob which might not run for the next 24 hours.
Ideally, after configuring the sources.list for the target system,
If I serve a UTF-8 encoded file *AND* set the default myself in Apache,
then everything is fine. If the default encoding is left alone, Apache
serves it up as windows-1252 and then UTF-8 encoded letters come out
as garbage like this: åäöÅÄÖéÉ
As seen from the browser HTTP_ACCEPT Headers,
ls -l security.conf

I did comment out the Remap-gentoo linei n acng.conf (kind of odd that
this would be enabled on an Ubuntu system?)

Turns out that the GdkX11.X11Display has no public constructor, so it's
invalid to create a GdkDisplay like that. The official API is to use

There is no confirmation when reports are sent, so that is the last
