could you please file a new report by executing the following in a terminal
while booted into a Ubuntu repository kernel (not a mainline one) via:

Can't speak for everyone else here, but I think being able to use an
alternative Launcher would provide a partial workaround for this bug,
allowing for it to be closed as fixed.
However, I still think it's important to allow the other components to
be turned off (Dash and top
Enabling the sanlock driver would first require pulling sanlock
into main.
