Hi James - I am not sure this deserves a MAAS task since MAAS itself
restarts the DHCP server when it alters the its config. And if it's not
coming up properly at boot after it's already configured, it's a

I e-mailed Massimo and received information that states the bug is fixed
in the kernel that ships with Ubuntu 13.10, as I found it was myself
when testing with the LiveCD version of 13.10. The volume controls in
the graphical front-end for alsamixer that ships with Ubuntu versions
Sarah Novotny happens to be sitting next to me, so I've just asked her
if she could perhaps get an assessment from an upstream developer.

The diff does not reveal any huge differences between lowlatency and
generic, but looking at it maybe others can gen an ideas as to wht might
be causing this all-over-the-place panic.

We seem some more skilled people than me on this. It seem like the error
start at one thing, but then progresses and pull the IO subsystem down
(the IO-error that I also get).

On the one hand, I agree with you, enabling a new feature is maybe not
the best idea for an SRU.
On the other hand, the 'stub status' module was already listed in the
debian/control package description but not actually enabled. That
suggests it was supposed to be enabled but someone
i am not sure what package is causing the problem. Ubuntu wiki tells me
that choosing the 'kernel' is a safely bet. But i still don't know which
kernel package it is. The editing web-page told me there's too much
packages about kernel. So I fill the name 'input-wacom'. If some
