Thanks, Daniel. Yes, the intent here was to try and avoid the
situation, in the future, that we currently have with distinguishing
migrations from precise hosts from migrations from saucy hosts with

For me everything is permission denied without sudo, but they all work well
with sudo, althought last one, at 1st time did not work:

Thanks for this fast feedback! After installing today's updates (linux-
image-generic:i386 3.13.0.23.27 among others) and testing suspend to RAM
and to disk, both worked. The only thing I changed besides the updates
was removing the nomodeset kernel parameter. I cannot say if it was
this parameter

That looks expected. Chromium forks the browser process to use it as a
sandbox IPC process, which is great for Chromium (because it forks it at
startup and before any threads are created) but sucks for us (because by
the time it forks, we already have a QML app and other gunk).
