It's improved much more since I reported it, in the sense that now the
time is updated. However, it might take up to a minute for it to be
updated on the welcome screen to the right value. E.g.
1. It's 23:44 and I turn the screen off
2. At 23:51 I turn the screen on. The welcome screen still shows

I'll have to admit that I was a bit confused in the end there after all
purging, reinstalling and installing. Checked my gpu-manager log now and
it says that neither nouveau nor nvidia are loaded. Just Intel. In the
jockey or 'additional drivers' interface it says nouveau. As I

version of KDE I'm using (4.13.3) or the fact that it's installing them
under User-added certificates all the way at the bottom of the list and

is the only program this happens with; I've tried many media players,
libreoffice impress, and several video games but can't reproduce the
