The whole point of a split greeter is that it is a separate process /
session, which will always involve more memory and resources. But we
can certainly optimize as much as possible. And try to reduce how many

autopilot unity8 fails with No GSettings schemas are
I built a Trusty test kernel with CONFIG_DMA_CMA not set.
The test kernel can be downloaded from:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1362261/
Can you test this kernel can confirm it fixes the bug? Be sure to
install both the linux-image and linux-image-extra .deb packages.

Well, I'm confident this will be well maintained in main, because it's a
central component in Touch (and maybe more). Has tests, including dep8
ones. Seems well packaged and well written.

Clicking on system image update notification doesn't open
This is actually a regression, must've happened around the time we
disabled and re-enabled the launcher over greeter.
Fits for a fix (and automated test) around ~mzanetti/unity8/launcher-
dont-hide-on-dash.

Hello,
While checking with the latest daily build (Sept 9th) we can see that the
linux-cloud-tools package providing all the Hyper-V LIS daemons (KVP, VSS
FCOPY) is not present.
The online packages link (http://packages.ubuntu.com/utopic/linux-cloud-
tools-generic) also
There is no media player support in any OS at the moment, so marking
this Triaged/High; assigned to me.
I'll go ahead and adjust the title for this to be the master bug for
media player support; and mark any others as duplicates.
