I have nfs4 not working and guessing could it be same problem,... actually
after 12.04 to 14.04 upgrade it stopped to work and I belived it was
pam/ldap realatd problem,... can kindly look at and confirm that this is the

Much the same is true with Lubuntu, on an old Dell Inspirion 1100. it
just will not recognize the laptop's LCD screen. Seems to run nicely
with the external monitor, and was able to recognize the type, size,
screen resolution etc.
14.04 seems to be very buggy with graphics.

I'm not that keen on updating the BIOS, some bad experience the past. It
was the first time the problem occured I will try to reproduce it, but the
problem hasn't occured again yet. Maybe it was due to the battery being
empty (needs replacing) the system didn't have enough time to
