After using 0.9.0 from upstream, I created a patched version of utopic's 0.7.0
package. It's available in my ppa:

It seems to work fine for me, but it might kill your kittens. Feel free

Installed latest updates through software updates utility. I wasn't
paying very close attention, but I believe it was installing an updated
kernel package, and the nvidia kernel module failed to build on the new
kernel. I'm assuming apport is attaching logs to this.
Reproduced on Ubuntu 14.04, with Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939 (Jan 22 2014).

unity-control-center from there and see if it fixes your bug? It's for
14.04.
If it does not fix it, could you redo the logging with the ppa version,

parameter anywhere on the kernel commandline?
