After reading the known issues I found one for a crash while installing
with multiple HD in the system. I was using a SSD and also a HDD, trying
to install to the SSD.
I disconnected the HDD and attempted install again and it worked, the
installer completed without crashes or errors.

Same Problem here on ubuntu14.04 recently upgraded from 13.10.
The workarounds setting the grub default option is not possible for me, because
I am using the system with vdr.
The vdr sets a wakeup-time which is programmed in the BIOS with nvram.

I was trying to start chromium-browser with some additional command-line
arguments (gssapi-related). I created a file /etc/chromium-
browser/customizations/00_gps.dynxs.de.sh that extends the variable
CHROMIUM_FLAGS, but this file is acually ignored.
Apparently, the
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

Since 2 days, the mouse cursor is double with only the left part as
active and a bar just behing of both arrow (see picture joined).
I tried to change the theme but no way to go back to a normal mouse
cursor

I am unable to mount Nexus5 and Samsung Galaxy 2 on Ubuntu 14.04
I was able to do file operations without any issues in prior versions.

That is maybe not a bug. You have an old release which isn't supported
anymore. You have to upgrade with the old-releases archive repository

I have tha same (1440, gamma, fglrx removed) with Radeon HD 4850, but only on
upgraded ubuntu from 12.04 to 14.04 (both LTS) .
With 14.04.1 LTS desktop live I have correct resolution:
root@ubuntu:~# xrandr -q
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 8192 x 8192
HDMI-0
fast'n'dirty patch
sudo sed -i's/Exec=chromium-browser/Exec=env LIBGL_DRI3_DISABLE=1
chromium-browser/g' /usr/share/applications/chromium-browser.desktop
It is possible you have to apply the patch to
~/.local/share/applications/chromium-browser.desktop

download latest samsung linux driver (

unpack, ./install.sh - now scanning work fine ;)

Laptop HP-635. Uptime: 3 days 22 hours. With lot of times going to sleep mode.
Once I waked it up and realised there is a ping to gateway but no DNS.
