38.0.2125.111 Ubuntu 14.10 (290379) (64-bit) - when attempting to use
the backspace key in a comment field on Facebook. This causes keyboard
input to no longer work for the entire application, requiring it to be
closed and started again.
HVM instances does not seem to have this issue, only PV/paravirtual
instances.

There is definitely an improvement with 3.16.0-26-generic but I still

boots. If you wish to use the drives in non raid mode, you need to
actually destroy the raid array with the bios utility, or with dmraid
-E.

Those are just warnings, not an error, so that was a red herring.
The real problem was that grub was being installed to an individual disk
instead of the raid array. Did you pick manual partitioning or one of
the automatic options? Does this still happen with 14.04?

You need to choose manual partitioning and make sure to select the raid
array ( /dev/mapper/isw_dhacdhbfcb_main ) instead of /dev/sda for where
to install grub. Also if you are not dual booting with Windows, it is
best to avoid fake raids and use conventional linux software raid
instead as it is b
You tried to install grub to a single drive ( /dev/sda ) rather than the
raid array. You need to make sure to set grub to install to the array (
/dev/mapper/isw_beijhdahca_ARRAY ) instead.

In UEFI mode, installer crashes if OS is installed on 2nd drive and grub
installs successfully but ubiquity doesn't think so

In a specific case, having this issue, it was workarounded by replacing the
calls to "gzopen" with "gzopen64":

I was going to write a patch for "HEAD" but then I found out that
iriverter doesn't appear ever in Debian and I can't see it in Vivid
while doing causal checking.
The only use I had is that it quickly and easily got me a working
mencoder line like this:
