I ran into this problem while trying to build an SDL demo application
for Ubuntu Touch. libSDL2 tries to open libmirclient.so.7, the system
provides libmirclient.so.8, libSDL2 then runs out of options and
SDL_Init(SDL_VIDEO) fails with "No available video device".

I have started experimenting with an alternative solution which is much
simpler than what I originally proposed. The solution is to ensure
libprotobuf exposes only the symbols it has to (i.e. google protobuf
related), to avoid binding to libstdc++, and thus working around the
problem.

/var/lib/spamassassin, so after running this users should not be getting

space message was to create a boot disk and completely replace the
existing OS, then restore files from a backup drive. A couple of
upgrades later, same problem with not enough /boot space. My poor

So will this be fixed in 14.04 at all? I just upgraded to kernel
3.13.0-44 and I'm seeing more of these messages then before. This is on
a system that does NAT and DNS.
