I'm having great difficulty with the idiot-proof muon - I used to revert
to Apper but now it's gone.
Searching for build-essential or just essential, qtcreator or just
creator (in case I missed a hyphen) yields blankness.
If I hunt through all the categories trying to guess which one they're

Thanks for all the help Christopher, but I think that I will just
upgrade to Vivid as soon as I can, as it is only a few weeks away, so no
backport needed and it can be closed as invalid.

long as Mario), i have been using my rPi and a button to run a command over ssh
to fix it

i upgraded me and my dad to xfce 4.12 and now he has the issue ga-a55m-ds2

It's most probably linked to the bug #1327546 as it happened to me 10
minutes ago, and sheechd-up is a newly installed package failing again.

workaround is absolutely user UNfriendly, i.e. still hard to read and
for casual users inconvinient, because one needs supply all that many
format options ...
