I use the shortcut Windows + L (same as CTRL+ALT+L but less fingers are
needed) to lock my laptop.
Bashar's solution did not work for me. I'm running 14-04.
I did the chmod (needed sudo in front, of course).
I had a gpg.conf file which did not have the 'use-agent' line so I added it
first after the introductory blurb.
Rebooted and checked that gpg-agent was running with ps -ef | grep
I'm on 15.04, coming from 14.10 and none of the workarounds work for me.
I just start the openvpn connection through the cli.

I was trying to install wine meta package, but it froze through
installation. Although after removing packages and reinstalling it seems
to be working fine now. Also, using apt-get command through terminal
seems to work fine.

Benjamin, I don't think the problem is related to a somehow messed up
configuration (user or system wide), because as mentioned in #8, I can
reproduce the bug by booting from a pristine live iso image. Or we a
suffering from different bugs.
