I am not familar with the rhythembox codebase, but it seems to be an
error in styles.css that causes the white line.
As a workaround you can directly apply the patch attached to the
styles.css in your system which can be found in /usr/share/rhytembox.
When rhytembox is started next time the white
On one of the machine suffering from this I run jenkins. Shutting down
jenkins immediately gets kswapd back to normal. Starting jenkins again
makes kswapd spin again. But a reboot mitigates the problem for several
days.

I moved to SteamOS. I am afraid you have to format your OS drive though.

I've encountered the same problem. Is this an issue that won't be fixed?
I thought I had a pretty normal setup. Dual boot windows 7 and Ubuntu.
Installed Windows first, then Ubuntu, used all default/recommended settings.
Now left with a totally trashed bootloader for both OSes, and wasted best pa

Apologies for the delay in response, doesn't seem that apport-collect is
working for me:

I'm not sure reading it, but I think this was fixed with our switch to
the more complex RegEx parser. If not, please post examples.

installing open-iscsi provides some initramfs hooks, but does not update the
initramfs.
the result is:
apt-get install open-iscsi
reboot
will not allow you to use iscsi in initramfs.
per discussion just now in ubuntu-devel it should call update-initramfs
-u in postinst

The URL Overlays feature in URL Dispatcher solves this problem. There's
a branch for mediaplayer that implements URL Overlays there but it needs
mediahub support as well. Marking it complete in URL Dispatcher.
