Having just had this on a Dell 5455 during an update to 14.04.03 (black
screen) and getting nowhere with fixes mentiond herex (I always get
error code 1 when trying to update fglrx) I tried the following command.
sudo apt-get install fglrx-updates
Rebooted and it's seems to work fine now.

have now installed the lastest upstream, but got a dumb issue:
This is a media PC and the error is only appearing sometimes, could even be
weeks!
As this PC does need the proprietary NVIDIA module for accelerated playback
(nouveau is far too slow!!), it is now an Henn and Egg
zynjacku was removed from Debian some time ago because it is buggy and
not maintained upstream. We should probably consider removing it from
Ubuntu too.

Sorry folks, but as part of the bug clean up ahead of 16.04 I'm marking
this as invalid because it affects an Ubuntu release which is now
unsupported. If you can still recreate this bug in a supported release
please do open a new bug and we can triage it for consideration in the
16.04 development
Can implement copy from Unity 8 to XMir with current libcontent-hub API, cannot
implement copy from X to Unity 8.
However, a new object will be implemented in libcontent-hub that contains
pasteboard specific methods that will need to switch to when it is
implemented.

sincere apology. this bug is apparently related to kernel rtc issue.
After fixing it, the timezone is correctly reflected as gmt +8

1) making it possible for an application to tell the orientations it
supports.
or
2) making it possible for an application to tell the orientation it
would like to be put in (from the set of supported orientations, which
is constant) at runtime.
