Public bug reported:
I have a Bq E5 (not an E4.5) and the GPS does not seem to work. The
SensorsStatus app shows GPS as returning no results for location (every
reading ("Latitude", "Longitude", etc) is shown as a dash, except
"Method" which is "Satellite" and "Speed" which is "nan") . I have

Just noticed - everything is fine when I connect to 2.4 WiFi on my
router and I have the error when I use 5 GHz. I tried all possible
variants of configuration for my 5 GHz access point - the same error. So
I am using 2.4 GHz now...

Public bug reported:
While using the Chrome and Firefox web browsers, Ubuntu will crash and
log me out and will not let me log back in without rebooting the
computer. This happens quite often. Most often while watching video
content, but also just while navigating through web pages. I have

Public bug reported:
In /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hook-functions, the firmware is copied to the
initramfs using:
cp -a "$firmware" "$target_dir"
For symlinked firmware such as /lib/firmware/i915/skl_dmc_ver1.bin for
Intel Skylake, this results in a copy of the symlink instead of the
firmware
I want to add that this isn't in the Debian version of the package. The
change to remove the call to copy_exec is what broke this.

Hit this again today with lightdm spamming the logs.
I'd left the PC for about 45 minutes; came back to a backlit but black
display and no response to input.
I connected via SSH and found lightdm had TWO instances of X running,
one on tty7 and the other on tty8
