The mx4 touch screen sends a BTN_TOOL_FINGER key event during the touch
down and up.. This interferes with position tracking inside libinput and
leads to invalid positions being reported and in some cases jumping of
the position just before the release of a touch contact.

Hello,
as part of the bug clean up ahead of 16.04 LTS I'm marking this as invalid
because it affects an Ubuntu release which is now unsupported. If you can still
recreate this bug in a supported release please do open a new bug and we can
triage it for consideration in the 16.04 LTS development
I recently uploaded a new version of ubuntu-release-upgrader which
changes the blacklist entry for ubuntu-release-upgrader. If you try
upgrading again your issue may be resolved.

Could imagine that when inserting a new stick or a keyboard only a short query
with the device type needs to be confirmed. This request can be omitted by
known devices.
This is maybe annoying, but safety first!
