You can verify the image file by running md5sum on it and comparing with
the list of md5sums on the download site. More likely though, it is a
cheap usb stick that has some bad spots. You can verify that the stick
is ok by choosing the check disc option at the boot menu.

asyncore's logging output to syslog, instead of stderr. This keep's
apt-get's output clean.

Apologies if I have raised the dead :) The issue I'm having is that
after selecting Irish from the Install/Remove Languages dialogue, I
should be seeing Gaeilge in the Language Support list but it doesn't
show on this machine.
I tried running it again (X forwarding to my laptop) and
I just received my controller and noticed that it didn't work correctly
in kubuntu. I hope this can be fixed soon as there are already multiple
people in the steam forums suffering from this.

bug in 15.04 unity DE, there are no bug, if you have bug provide your
steps to reproduce otherwise this will be closed on Monday.
P.s. In 5 years in codebase of gnome-screensaver were a lot changes this
bug seems to be fixed

Xubuntu 15.04 MD5SUM passes test. Installation happens normally up to
the point of creating the bootloader on the Hard drive. Gives error

Can you try unloading and reloading i8042 module (make sure it is a
