As a workaround, I changed the ExecStart line in
/lib/systemd/system/sshguard.service to

I'm having a similar issue, but not quite the same. The display works
fine upon booting up (Kubuntu 15.10 beta 2), but if I let it go to sleep
(or turn off the TV I use as a monitor) and return, then I get no
display, and have to reset the computer to get a display back.
Just yesterday something
Happens also on my machine, only on Wily sistem:
- guest: 15.10 Wily (updated today)
- host: Ubuntu 14.04 (kernel 3.13, updated today)
Other info: this bug seems to be related to the guest additions I installed in
my VM. Before I did it, webapps were working ok on Ubuntu 15.10.
VirtualBox and
Quantal is in EOL now. FacebookMessenger webapp installs correctly on
14.04 and Wily (tested today).

a C application called tunslip, which is provided as part of the Contiki
OS distro. select() indicates there are bytes available on even
