location, and to have a script launched buy my window manager (I use

making "sudo update-grub2" in the main partition, with Ubuntu 14.04.3 (I
use 3 partitions with 3 different OS,). In previous tests I did run

Now after over 4 days of uptime with "intel_idle.max_cstate=1" I seemed
to have a hang. But that was not the case. Screen was turned off and
touching or pressing touchpad didn't bring it back on so I thought it
had hanged. Then I decided to try taking ssh connection from my
workstation to the ASUS
I'm pretty sure that this is same bug that my machine is suffering. I
have Dell Precision 15 5000 Series (5510) with Quadro M1000M/PCIe/SSE2
graphics card (4.2.0-23-generic). Current observations:
- HDMI output works if connected from the boot
- When DPMS kicks in HDMI output disappears (tested
Screen freezes periodically, have eight machines doing the same thing.
If I VNC into the machine, the graphics appear to be updating fine...but
the LCD panel is stuck. All applications are continuing to run normally.

packs in Region & Language under Settings. Vivid will be reaching EOL at
the end of this month as well. Could you confirm if this is still a

it not start. Although it listed as kernel available with dpkg -l | grep

I now have a clearer Idea of what (at least in my case) went wrong, and
it is not related to "Next record" being broken, but to the mail merge
assistant.
I was fooled by my assumption of the merge mail assistant producing wysiwyg
output in step 6, where it lets you check the contents of the field

The problem can be worked around by not opening testcase.odt. However,
if the user accidently does not apply this workaround, he or she is
faced with the problem as soon as he or she presses STRG+P (or uses the
printing dialog from the menu).

In my case the following paths was directory, not file. I just remove it
sudo rm -rf /lib/systemd/system/wacom-inputattach@.service
sudo rm -rf /lib/udev/rules.d/69-wacom.rules
sudo rm -rf /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-wacom.conf
After that upgrade work without error.
