1. Connecting to wifi access point
2. Suspend
3. Move out of range, but in range of another saved access point.
4. Resume.
My computer automatically connected to the new access point, but does

The latest walinuxagent 2.0.16-0ubuntu2~12.04.0 package for Precise
included the postinst file from the Trusty package. The postinst script
configures dhclient.conf so that the DHCP client sends the system's
current hostname to the DHCP server. Unfortunately, the dhclient.conf
I think that's it fixed! I can see items and categories. Which is more
than I could see last time!

A kernel bug report was opened against Ubuntu [0]. After a kernel
bisect, it was found that reverting the following commit resolved this bug:

I confirmed this *again* in a much easier way, by using the RF-toggle
switch to cycle the wifi manually on the laptop.
On 4.6, this makes the firmware crash (same error as above).
With the upgraded iwlwifi module and upgraded firmware, the error goes
away.

Can someone please do something about this? I have an AMD desktop that
crossfires an A10's RadeonHD 7660D with a PCI Express 6670G. Up until
15.10 this setup works great. However I am unable to use 16.04 optimally
because the open source RADEON drivers can't do crossfire. The upcoming
AMDGPU driver
Yeah I had that thought as well, but I thought it's worth an experiment
though on all devices to see if it can be applied generally. Do you
happen to know what the default value is for pulse at the moment?

This problem came across several ubuntu versions, It never works well.
I recently upgrade my laptop from Ubuntu 12.04 to 16.04 64 bits and It still

31c2013e4 in Xenial) has introduced a regression, reported in bug
1573231. The commit message for that commit has a bug link to this bug.
