The specific problem with NUC seems to have been my fault: I didn't
realise it was installing in UEFI mode, so did not create an ESP (EFI
System Partition).
It was strange that it managed to even start booting the kernel at all;
I can only guess that the hardware was not correctly initialized.
I'm installing kernel 4.7 at the moment - just noticed this in the

Hello, the 4.7-rc7 kernel cannot be installed. With the 4.7.0-040700rc4
kernel installed the problem remains.

FTR merging with Debian is tricky; the required barbican version is in
experimental (so no merge-o-matic), and we have quite divergent views on
what a core piece of OpenStack packaging should be doing compared to the
opinion of the principle developer in the pkg-openstack team in Debian.
So
Both 4.7-rc5/rc6 kernels cannot be installed. With the 4.7.0-040700rc4 kernel
installed the problem remains.

OTA-12! a common issue I experienced many times. The bug now is not able
to toggle Mobile data at all...so switching flightmode on/off has no
