So, a workaround is to apply the same hack found in
lp:~vanvugt/mir/test-1391976/+merge/262669.

Accepted ltt-control into xenial-proposed. The package will build now
and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ltt-
control/2.7.1-2~fakesync1.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.
I saved this other crash from yesterday. I think it happened in similar
