- For the switches to work, unity-control-center needs to be started with the
right COMPIZ_CONFIG_PROFILE (same as Unity) - in a VM, this will normally be
"ubuntu-lowgfx"
- nautilus, which is launching unity-control-center here has

image you have used for installation was corrupt in some way.
You may wish to re-download the image you used (or a more recent one),

If I set the value of GRID_UNIT_PX in ~/.profile on the device and

The MySQL daemon will not run as root, but will drop privileges down to
a specified user instead, which needs to own the files in the specified
data directory.
So currently MySQL will only run on user home databases (without
devmode) since we can't change ownership or users.
