I can confirm this bug on a fresh 16.04.1 install as well, Eclipse
segfaults over X2Go. Unfortunately the workaround proposed by Colin
isn't working for me either. I added that line to
/etc/x2go/x2goagent.options and am still having the same problem. Any
other ideas?

Your disk is currently partitioned to boot in bios mode, but you booted
the installer in EFI mode. A warning message prompted you that this
could be a problem and recommended performing a bios mode install
instead, but you chose not to. You either need to perform the bios mode
install, or

I believe I'm experiencing this issue as well. If lightdm loads up, I
enter half my password and the flickering happens, I type the rest of my
password and am not able to login. I believe the flickering interrupts
my typing somehow. When I retype my password entirely after the
flickering, it works
