Well I can, but the boot repair has added the EFI mount in, so I'm not
sure how helpful this will be.
I don't know why the original efi line was commented out. I may have
done it some moons ago for some reason.

@simosx take any Java app or an app that didn't add workarounds (Gedit
was one of the first where it was fixed) and use Ctrl+C on Cyrillic
layout (Ukrainian as an example). I wouldn't work even on 17.04. So yes,

I've looked at the error's stack trace and can replicate the problem.
This only occurs on arm64 systems when trying to use the Software

I've had the same problem since I first started using Gedit regularly. I
have the auto-save function set to every 1 minutes so the UI locking up
can be very irritating.
I've had this problem with Gedit on Ubuntu and Linux Mint. I've also had
this same problem with Xed, so, that implies that this
