I just upgraded to Ubuntu 17.04 and on trying to connect more than one
external monitor, the system either goes to a black screen (recoverable
from a system terminal) or will switch on one external monitor but not
both. This was working with the ati proprietary drivers in

f558fca8d64e3795b0654a90d343af1dd1d8b33c to xenial and found it only
fixed "Failed to obtain handles for "Service Changed" characteristic"
but not the errors immediately after it: "Not enough free handles to
register service".
Sounds like that commit is not
