Hello,
i'm using a Lenovo Carbon x1 (5th generation) with a HP Thunderbolt 3
dock (90W version). All ports are working, except USB Ports - for ~30
minutes. After ~30 minutes, also the USB ports get activated.
While waiting for that, dmesg shows something like a "loop"

There doesn't appear to have been any progress on resolving this for
close to three months. I'm going to go ahead and remove the package
from artful-proposed so that it's not showing up on proposed-migration
as requiring action. If a fix becomes available and the Kubuntu team

This might be related to the setting "org.gnome.desktop.interface
scaling-factor", because if I manually set it to zero (gsettings set
org.gnome.desktop.interface scaling-factor 0), g-c-c now can change the
display resolution.
But g-c-c should not fail just because of an invalid setting.

Hi NeuroMancer,
what you now have hit is a case I sometimes have seen.
It is described in bug 1686324 and to fix it "right" is part of the same
virt-aa-helper effort.
To keep things separate - this issue here about the /run/udev rules - the other
one about /dev/bus/usb/... I will post the rest
Documenting the workarounds we have until this is solved properly are as
following:
- use virsh attach (hot-add) instead of adding it to the guest right away
- If you happen to use the same USB port every time the IDs won't change and
you can check what was blocked in dmesg and add just that to
