Had to reboot back into previous known working kernel 4.13.0-21.24. As
a note, booting into 4.13.0-25.29 resulted in a broken keyboard/touchpad
and wifi not working. Rebooting into the even newer 4.13.0-30.33 then

Another problem occurred : serious inconsistencies in the i-node table
causing a crash and a grub-rescue error. Eventually I reverted to ISO
release. Maybe later, I'll try the release 16.04.4...

I've got this issue as well. Automatic login, no requirement for a
password on the screen lock. When resuming from suspend, the password is

Steps to reproduce:
(0) Install Bionic desktop
(1) Observe that only PPTP connection type is available when adding a VPN in
the UI (using any method).
(2) Run `sudo apt-get install network-manager-openvpn`.
(3) Observe that in the top panel "VPN Settings" option, clicking
IMHO, it would be nice if the Desktop install supported all the VPN
plugins out-of-the-box. Users shouldn't need to hunt for plugin packages
to install.
