I have the same problem on fresh install Xubuntu 18.04 LTS, on

Just tidying up this bug...
Although this is the top Xwayland crash, I'm now thinking we need to
lower its priority. The reason is that this crash is only a side-effect
of the gnome-shell process going away and not really a bug in Xwayland.
One could argue that Xwayland still shouldn't crash in
I do see those messages - it's an older Dell Latitude.
I also tried booting with the kernel shipped with 17.10 and the problem doesn't
exist there.

@Roman: I don't know what might be wrong. You might be able to get more
information with the command "systemctl status bumblebeed.service".
Also, you could try "tail -f /var/log/syslog" in one terminal before
running "optirun glxinfo" in another and check back on the tail output
afterwards.
