I can't find any other reports of this crash globally. But also the
stack in comment #3 may be wrong.
Please upgrade to Ubuntu 18.04 if you can. Otherwise there is little we
can do (also because the upstream BlueZ developers won't want to help
while you're on an old version).

Jan: It’s not special. As a rule, stable releases almost never get
version bumps outside of a handful of prominent packages that can’t be
supported securely any other way (e.g. Firefox). Instead, individual
security patches are backported.

Hello, I am currently using the default version 3.5 in my ubuntu

One more thing:
Wayland sessions might perform better, so please try mpv in a Wayland
session. Unfortunately Totem probably won't work there (bug 1770725).

Public bug reported:
Been this way since at least 15.
Plug in your headphones, boot up your laptop. No sound. Speakers and
headphones are disabled. Super annoying, you have to unplug and re-plug,
and go through the stupid dialogue of "what are you trying to plug in?"
which has no memory, and no
This is particularly annoying for me too.
All of my virtual machines use linux-image-generic because I need linux-
image-extra to get the i6300esb watchdog driver for the KVM watchdog.
This change forces the amd64-microcode and intel-microcode packages to
be installed on all of my VMs.
