To me, the issue has presented itself only after dist upgrade from
xenial to bionic. While still on xenial I did not observe this problem.
At the same time I can confirm that I receive an email with the
contents:

but no email containing:

after a purge remove vagrant I get raid problems.

Managed to boot back to prior kernel (I got some help).
Problem is still happening.
In fact, after the icon in the launchbar stopped pulsating and

DRI supporting drivers installed.
It apparently is not linked to look for the AMDGPU mesa drivers, only
the Radeon ones. Now that the AMDGPU drivers no longer depend on the
