Since kernel 4.18 sometimes while waking up from standby my user session crash.
I assume that my attached external USB to SATA HDD could be cause this kernel
bug.

Which DRI driver are you using? 10bpc is disabled for every gallium
driver (like radeonsi) and intel, so I don't understand how changing the
drirc would affect at all.

snaps can not access any removable media until you connect the
removable-meadia interface ...

page there) or via command line:

I've got the same setup as the original report and the problem still
exists on a fully upgrade BIOS and dock firmware (under certain
circumstances).
1. the setup works with Thunderbolt 3 security disable (set to NONE) in
the BIOS
2. with TB3 security set to "secure", cold plugging the dock leads

now - so an FYI for that.
But in an IRC discussion there were two potential paths to resolve this issue
overall:
- make the cirrus.ko available in the non -extra package so that it works out
of the box using this
