Title:
autofs kernel module missing
To manage notifications about this bug
Hi Robert,
I haven't found the reason.
For my limited kernel knowledge I have checked and discussed a bit.
in [1] I found
$ grep -Hrn autofs debian.master/contro*
debian.master/control.d/generic.inclusion-list:181:fs/autofs4/autofs4.ko
But then was made aware that with 4.18 ther kernel started
I just tried with the very latest kernel from disco proposed:
ubuntu@s1lp15:~$ uname -r
5.0.0-11-generic
ubuntu@s1lp15:~$ lszdev qeth | head -n 5
TYPE ID ON PERS NAMES
qeth 0.0.c000:0.0.c001:0.0.c002 yes yes encc000
qeth 0.0.c003:0.0.c004:0.0.c005 yes yes
I looked into this, and we simply need a way to prevent the udev rule
from trying to load the modules on the live installer.
Iain Lane suggested using an empty udev rule in /run/udev/rules.d/ to
override the nvidia one, in casper. I am going to work on the relevant
changes.

I'm not even sure what it should be TBH.
It might be nvidia/amd drivers if those fail to initialize.

Or VLC if you actually have DRI support but VLC fails still.

What problem did you experience at the first place? What's your goal
when you execute the mentioned command?
vte-2.91.sh was written for bash and zsh. You execute it with sh (dash).
Due to -n, the commands are not executed and thus it skips the bash/zsh
check and continues. Then it fails on a
right, so OTOH the old regression on ppc hasn't been fully verified yet,
but blacklisting bochs_drm causes 1823152 on x86 which surely is more
important than ppc..
