@pitti would it be possible to temporarily skip the tests where VMs are
rebooted to reduce the blast radius so to speak? I really don't want to
turn Ubuntu CI off completely.

This happens on an up-to-date Ubunto 16.04 machine about once an hour.
It also happens on a system running Debian Jessie.
Another similar machines running the same version of Ubuntu has not
shown any problems.
