/gsd-power-manager.c, handle_wake_up_screen enables
temporary_unidle_done_cb to run after 15 seconds before system enters

Also experienced this bug. The temporary fix (modprobe) worked, but
commenting out the "blacklist i2c_i801" line resulted in the machine not
finding the touchpad on reboot.
I was able to successfully fix this

I recently installed 16.04 on my Apple G4 PowerPC (PPC/PowerPC/Pmac).
I was then prompted to upgrade to 18.04 which dropped support for
PPC-32, so there is no ubuntu.mnimal for the upgrader to acquire.
Since there is no support for my arch, I should not be promtped to
