I tried something I've never done to see if I could set up for dual
boot, which I've done before but not this way and I didn't want to use
Gparted later. I am not a power user. 240G hard drive and used 110G
for Ubuntu under EXT4 using / as a mounting point, and then I

Arch Linux Drops GCC 9 From Testing Due To BCache Corruption Bug

I'm running into the same problem trying to build a module. The
Makefile in /usr/src/linux-headers-5.4.0-050400rc3-generic is a broken
symlink.
It appears that none of the .deb files in https://kernel.ubuntu.com
/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.4-rc3/ (all or amd64) contain the Makefile.

I uninstalled all user installed extensions, uninstalled several
applications I was not using to see if the number of pages affected it,
and I rebooted the system afterward. The problem still persists. Here is
a screen recording of the bug in action.

After upgrading to 19.10 the boot screen shows the following error:
Error: symbol 'grub_file_filters' not found.
Entering rescue mode...
I could fix it after i booted Ubuntu 19.10 live and used the chroot repair
method as described here
