of kernels. Something introduced in the 5.4 series causes a host lockup

when I install qml-module-qtquick-layouts package.

@Christian, that (comment #7) means Aaron is to help back porting the
fix to Ubuntu kernel, so that you'll have the driver out of box without
additional action taken.
Before that, you may want to try my PPA in
https://launchpad.net/~vicamo/+archive/ubuntu/ppa-1886247 . It's still
compiling kernels
I'm running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS / 20.04.1 with the default theme and having
the same issue, except my issue is more squashed to the left. I uploaded

My Problem was just a naming issue :-
$ dmesg | grep -i 'bluetooth'
if you are facing some naming problem,the output of above command should
be somthing like this ->
Bluetooth hci0: Direct firmware load for brcm/BCM43142A0-0489-e062.hcd failed
with error -2
Bluetooth: hci0: BCM: Patch brcm/BCM

I have now built and run a kernel with:
CONFIG_DRM_V3D=m
CONFIG_CLK_RASPBERRYPI=y
CONFIG_ARM_RASPBERRYPI_CPUFREQ=y
in .../focal/debian.raspi/config/config.common.ubuntu and i can confirm
that it fixes the problem.
My debug code shows raspberrypi_clk_probe() successfully adding clock
"firmware-cl
