I'd like to configure two wired connections: One to the outside world
via DHCP, the other shared to other computers.
When attempting this, unpredictable behavior happens: the two wired
connections are conflated with each other.

This is implemented for BIOS which puts us at feature parity with the
previous releases. There is no memtest86+ that works under UEFI today.
So this is done for the Ubuntu CD images project unless and until there
is a UEFI-compatible memtest we choose to include.

So we have multiple levels of information here.
If you have 64GB of "drive space" I believe you are referring to the
partition size. If one allocates a whole pool to this then some of the
space is used as overhead to make the pool. This includes labelling,
alignment usage, metaslab allocation

Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a
specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu
in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source
packages so that people

; i could see that on boot the ctrl+c message is there after unlock,
briefly, and then cleared.
Then i downgraded to 0.9.4git20200323-0ubuntu6 and instead of brief
ctrc+c message, it lingers for a lot longer until gdm3

Booting Ubuntu or its flavours from a Live USB gives five options,
including an OEM installation.
Lubuntu 20.04 provides the same options (see screenshot).
