Hi Thanks for your reply.  Somehow when i install the desktop update icon, it won’t delete the old kernels. So it filled up the root disk (256 MB) thereby it won’t update due to space issues.  I noticed this problem from Ubuntu 18 and up. So i have to delete old kernels manually on Terminal.
