Thanks. It looks like comment #10 is correct. Also the kernel is
correctly reporting that the laptop display is OFF and the external
monitor is ON. So I think Plymouth should be enhanced to check that and
not bother with outputs that are OFF.

My guess is that the issue was with a build-dep of ovn that has been
fixed in jammy somehow, and that as you suspect we're now just seeing

does send ICMP type 3 (Destination Unreachable) code 4 (Fragmentation
needed and DF was set) [4] to instances in the cloud, informing the
client of the gateway MTU when the `gateway_mtu` flag is set on the LRP.
So the issue
As mentioned in comment #37, the original test case is likely to pass in
3.36.9+ even without the patch correctly applied. So the new second test
case should be to verify that the patch is correctly applied.
