If i try to open "gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng" to configure
through the extension manager this show this error:

It only just began, but yes we didn't want to disturb getting into the beta in
the first place and it is out now.

1. Install Ubuntu 22.04 desktop
2. Excute command
$ debsums -c
[Expected result]
test passed without any change
[Actual result]
test failed with below output
So this outcome is not limited to xubuntu. I was able to produce the
same result with the base desktop ISO as well.
The key here is a "deadnet" type configuration - active networking but not
going anywhere.
I was however able to make the install work on the deadnet by setting the
autoinstall

I had to fight a bit to figure out how to build ucx due to the
"debian.upstream" directory, but I've completed an arm64 build. I can
confirm that when autoconf fails to find libamdhip64-dev, it will just
disable ROCm support.
I must admit, I didn't restart my arm64 build after fixing the
Upstream's repo might be the one with this issue

If it is helpful, I have output from "trace-cmd record -e iwlwifi -e
mac80211 -e cfg80211 -e iwlwifi_msg" from when the error is occuring. If
there are any other things that would help debugging this, I am happy to
provide more info.

that the package will probably only land in the distro after the release
of 24.04 beta.

jammy to mantic is not a particular interesting upgrade path, it's opt-
in only, so if nobody is interested in a mantic fix we shouldn't block
the jammy LTS fix for it. jammy users will be upgrading to noble and not
be affected by a mantic regression.
