Deleting every search action in the whisker
I can recreate this with many plugins on the top panel, not just Whisker
Menu. Just mousing back and forth across the very top edge of the panel
button eventually causes this with the pulse audio plugin and the
notifications plugin.

If you do not run a program that waits for user input, it will not stay
open. It is working exactly as intended (and exactly the same as the
application finder).

I couldn't wait for the fix, so I went ahead and rebuilt that box with a
different version of Ubuntu. I can not test the fix patch as the
machine is now in production and I can not take it down to rebuild it
again.

My laptop has a BIOS controlled LED to indicate when the battery is
charging as apposed to being fully charged. When my laptop is either
discharging or charging the battery indicator in gnome 3 or unity is
correctly showing the battery state. Once the battery reaches a fully
charged state, the
Wow; low priority? ... I would have never thunk it.
After visiting this issue for several hours at a time over the last few months
I am surprised I've never run across this thread though.
However I've been dancing around this issue with everything from the explicit

Not sure if I can confirm this is 'exactly' the same bug. But I'm on
Lucid and I do have problems with flash when it comes to having Youtube
running. Sometimes it's two youtube videos, sometimes it's Youtube with
a facebook flash game. But one thing for sure, it's certainly flash
running in
Oh, and I should add there doesn't seem to be any option for me except
for killing firefox-bin because firefox freezes up completely and I
can't get at any sort of disabling and re-enabling of flash.

Ok, I just had three bugs reported one right after the other and didn't
know that I was going to be asked this question so didn't collect it.

I have an Acer TravelMate 8571-8537 Timeline with BIOS version 1.33 and
I have the exact same behaviour with suspend and resume. When I suspend
it, the machine appears to suspend correctly, upon resume it will turn
on the wifi light for a few seconds and then go through a cold boot
cycle. I
I made the same experience. The fix worked on hardy but not on intrepid.

I just installed Hardy with the new Kernel and i have now the same
problem. On Gutsy the fan at least was running (although permanent), but
i could integrate a script to control the fan. Now not even this
works...
