This is weird but for some reason, having some of the kde-telepathy package installed (not on my machine atm so can't really tell which two were), breaks my apt but makes gdm3 to work (while making me somehow break lightdm and sddm). Now I can't login to the previous ones, but can to gdm3. Also

Public bug reported: GDM shows and when trying to log in to gnome session blank screen appears. Going to tty7 returns to login screen. It switches to some of the first tty (1 to 3) because when trying to switch on them, they are all blank. Graphics info attached to duplicate bug 1680832
