I believe I am affected by this issue as well. I have a Google WiFi
device as a router, and everything works well for the first few days,
with the link-local address used on the Google WiFi's RA used as the
IPv6 default route.
After a couple of days however, the Google WiFi device changes its

This is a very big problem.
A lot of packages from external repos are still using libcurl3.
In my opinion libcurl3 and libcurl4 should be able to coexist.
I tried the workaround proposed by @marcosjacoby, but I get errors like:

I must correct my post #77: The X200 now shows the bug, but differently.
There is no blank screen, but the last screen before hibernation is
visible. Other than that, the system is absolutely frozen as in the
other cases. So this is an example of a pre-i3 processor with the bug
being present.

Core(TM)2 Duo CPU L7100 @ 1.20GHz.
Has anyone found the bug being present on a processor older than i3? If

The X200 runs a clone of the Mint 18.3 installation of my T430s, which

Ryzen 1800X freeze - rcu_sched detected stalls on
Well I've now hit 3 weeks of uptime with C6 disabled in the BIOS and
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="rcu_nocbs=0-15 processor.max_cstate=1"
and 4.14.6 built from the mainline kernel repo. At this point I'm
satisfied that for me at least my Ryzen is now stable.
