My experience is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I'm
not sure how to trigger the behaviour. Invoking "/etc/init.d/bluetooth
restart" definitely doesn't fix it.

My thinkpad has an IBM_SERVICE partition containing various recovery tools.
This partition is not normally mounted, and it is a pain to have it listed,
particularly in the mounter applet. But Gutsy does not ignore it.

Binary package hint: acpi
The first time I close my laptop lid, it suspends. The second time I
close it, nothing appears to happen. The third time, it suspends
correctly. etc. I know that the lid is the only variable, because if
it fails to suspend on close, I simply open
