I think that you will find the reason for your error is that the
command for Firefox Beta 3 is "firefox-3.0" rather than Firefox.
While that is an error, it is a separate error and I would expect it
to be fixed.

I have a testing and a stable install of Ubuntu. I have Gutsy installed
on most of my HD. It booted up correctly every time. Last night I
installed Hardy Alpha 2 onto the testing partition and left all of the
Gutsy partitions alone. From then onwards, Gutsy stalls on ever

I just tested Hardy Alpha 1 on my Dell Inspiron 510m.
The slider now appears in GPM, but the settings on the slider do not
actually affect the brightness level.
On a related note, the brightness "icon" that appears on the screen when
one uses the hotkeys no longer shows the correct brightness. In
Step by step instructions:
1) Install Hardy - selecting English as the language and New Zealand as the
country (time zone Auckland);
2) Log in to Ubuntu and start Firefox;
3) Navigate to a webpage with a text box that is spellchecked (for example,
this comment box);
4) Type a word like "colour".

I just tested Hardy Alpha 1.
I have not had time to run the tests on the page that Bryce linked to,
but thought I would quickly post my findings.
Suspend to RAM works correctly but, on resume, the screen seeps a pale
blue colour from the bottom of the screen to the top. There is no mouse

I have a Dell Inspiron 510m with an Intel 855GM graphics chip (using
-Intel driver).
When I plug in an external monitor, it mirrors at different resolution,
as it should (my laptop is 1400x1050 and the screen only supports
1280x1024). W
I am using Gutsy Final and still cannot get the TV Out to do anything
useful.
Now that there is the elaborate "Screens and Graphics" section and the
Intel driver, I hope that something can be sorted!

Please also note that my system freezes occur at different times. When I
Suspend to RAM, it freezes when I try to wake the system up (see full
description in Bug #150109 ). The cursor is visible (and movable) over
the top, but I can't click anything or do anything. When I push the
laptop lid button
