I run a local Ubuntu repository on trusty. I wanted to add xenial to
it, and ran into this bug.
I have tried, and can report that the fixed version of apt-mirror can be
force-installed with dpkg. It is able to at least continue to work with
the trusty repo while working with xenial and the dep11

There is no indication or warning that the "reload" buttons for default
applications will kill the entire session. I lost work because of this.
There needs to be some sort of warning.

When I open more than my usual (3-4) text files, say 9+, mousepad
freezes, hits 100% CPU usage as reported by the 'top' command, and
starts taking up more and more memory - gigabytes if I don't notice it.
